I always seem to go on these extraordinary runs and end up squandering away all of my winnings going for the million dolar payoff... is there a set percentage that anyone uses as a 'cash out' point?

I find it very hard to cash out as well always chasing more money people are money hungry thats why we play poker and win and thats why we play and lose its all about money if your too scraed to risk money then you will lose what made you a winning player.

I dont like to keep alot of money online.. there is no need.. I only play low limit ring and low limit buy.. So what I do is if I win something decent I move it to my net-teller.. That way if Im steaming or tilting I wont want revenge and blow my bankroll.
Ive known people that have won a big tournament and decided they were now "pros" they got hooked on high limit rings and blew there load (pardon the pun).
Ive always believe money management is very important when playing online.. I dont win big.. But ILl neve lose with my method. Ill always be up but never drive a porche basically..lol

I refuse to deposite money.
I like to earn my money by placing in freerolls.
I primarily play on tropical poker because of its low player population.
I have never casshed out money from a poker site yet because i do not know when to stop gaming =]
I have lost nearly 3k in my poker winnings so far to date.
The only way i will cash is what i near a 4 digit number.

I have learned that there are many mitigating factorsin deciding when to cash out..
if u want to earn quick cash... have fun... depending on what kind of player you are, the players around you...
i am the kind of guy i want the money, fun is thursday home games... so when i double up i cash out, hit and run style

If you're playing long term, dont cashout...just don't move up to more expensive games...if you keep playing at the same level you made your money at you probably won't squander it all...stay within your limits

i also have the same problem , i dont know when to stop playing . i only stop playing when i dont have anymore money. i always end up with no more money and thinking where i was wrong.when im still winning seems like there's no way that ill lose seems like im the only lucky one and always to win.

I take the same approach with my bankroll as I do with my cards. I trust my gut instincts, and make my decisions based on them.
Sometimes I'll cash out as soon as I hit a set figure (whether it's $50, $100, etc.), and other times I'll keep playing. Lately, the amount of money I keep at my various poker accounts (what's left of them anyway) is much less than before. This mostly has to do with the fact that some of these sites may join the rest, and no longer allow American players. Because of this, I'd rather not take the chance of not being paid.

thats a good question, depends on what stakes you plan on playing though ya know? bankroll management is key though, it takes a while to learn how to manage it.

this is a toughy! no one ever cashes out until theyve lost most of their winnings it seems i think once you half your money its time to cash out!
