I was on good run managing to achieve 3 out of 5 final tables in the past week in $10+1 buy-ins. So I went in a $100 + $10 buy-in tourament thinking I would have a 1 in 2 chance of making the final table with my ratio. First hand I got dealt was POCKET ACES. and I was on the button. So I raised! The small blind folded & big bind called. The flop comes A 2 2. I have a full house, so I check to slow play, lol he moves all in. I was in dreamland. I instantly call, he shows 5 2. The turn comes 5, So we both have full house but I have the best obviously. The river comes and its a 2. I am out of the tourament first hand in my first $100+10 buy-in. I couldn't believe it. 4 of a kind. UNBELIEVEABLE

Hello,

Oh that must have hurt. It's a brutal beat not bad beat Smile
Unfortunately things like these happen. Whoever sais that in high buy-ins tournaments there aren't donkeys is sooo wrong. Here's a good example.
Better luck next time mate.

For my first $100+$10 buy-in tourney, it's definitely gonna be one to remember, lol. Am sure I won't come across another bad beat like that for a while I hope. I was well gutted Skello, I don't think theres a word to describe how I felt.

Unlucky adickted2pkr I bet you wanted to commit suicide after seeing the river. I know I would Very Happy
