Heads up you want to be playing most every hand. Keep the presure on your foe. If he's really aggressive you might need to make some all in moves or look to trap him/her.

When you are heads up in a tourney and u have equal chip stacks the best thing to do is to play aggressive and steal the blinds. It real doesnt matter what trash hand you have becuz ur opponent probably has just as bad of a hand.....if not worse

Actually, with equal stacks in heads up play, you probably won't be able to steal the blinds all that often since if you're raising almost every hand, just about any halfway decent opponent will soon begin calling almost every time anyway.  It's good to be aggressive, yes, but it's more likely to make a difference post-flop than pre-.

I always find myself low stacked for pretty much the first half. I'm always aliitle afraid to go all in with crappy cards. I'm the worlds worst bluffer, even on the internet!  Smile

Position and aggression are key to heads up.

I find that this is the quickest way to figure out your opponent. If he’s tight weak player just keep pounding away if he is lose aggressive look to trap and re raise his bluffs.

Know your opponent then pick a strategy to defeat him.
