Early in big MTT,s you have 2-3 people go ALL IN. So the Euro stragedy is they must all have Ace_king or Ace-Q so they go ALL IN too with maybe a J-9 !! The stragedy you see is most aces are out and Kings so they have more a chance to suk-out by catching a J or a 9 !!  lol

I agree mostly with you rgchan but in freerolls you are going to run into alot of people usually going all in early on all kinds of garbage. It is really wise to pick and choose your starting hands in the beginning of freerolls. First of all by doing this you are able to see what the strategies around the table consist of. Of course if you got good cards play them like you got good cards especially in early play. If you are at a table where there is all kinds of fire works going off , it is best to sit back and watch the show until the festivities has come to a reasonable pace. If you got AK and there is already three people all in before the flop it is actually smartest to lay them down. Although you may feel as though you have the best hand in this position, with three other people in it chances are we will lose. If you dont care and are a big risk taker than go for it, but if you want to sharpen your skills and decision making then lay it down and learn how to get deep into a tournament. for me thew best strategy is playing like a fool at first and with security then after making a good bank.....sometimes it works,,...lol
