Do you slow play them or go all in?

For me, there is only one way to play AA.  ALL IN PREFLOP.  I would rather have a race than be sucked out on to a lesser crap hand that the BB called only to protect his blinds.  I learned many times over to quit slow playing rockets and win with them for a change.  Smile

i would agree with you on that slow play gets you beat.  All in pre flop is the only way togo.  sometimes ill let go until the flop if im big blind. but not that often

if someone else has raised i will re raise. if everyone is just calling i will bet the pot at least, if a loose player has raised i will call and slow play them if u get beat u get beat. any sign of of str8 or flush draw  i'll go all in  they are the best two cards u can get preflop so more times than enough you'll win the pot if the flop or board pairs i will just call

It really depends on the table and how they view you.
If you are considered a super tight player, I may limp or throw out a small raise. If you are considered a loose player, you push hard and get payed off.

Very Happy Strange, isn't it, how many different ways we can think of to play pocket Aces.

Definitely disagree with automatically going all in.  What's the reward in that, collecting only the blinds most of the time.  Not using their power to make the most money possible.

A better solution, regardless of position, is to raise 3 to 5 times the big blind.  Most times, someone will call your raise and, at the same time, you get rid of those who just want to see the flop.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, slow play pocket Aces.  It's surprising how many times they lose that way.   Laughing  Wink

If im shortstacked i jsut go all in but if im not i just make a raise of about 2 or 3 times the big blind.

Every time I play them differently, it depends on who I am up against.  There is no 1 way I play them, if I played like that not only would I not get the maximum out of my opponents, my opponents would have a read on how I play my pocket aces.  So whenever I play them I change it up depending on how my opponents play.

Depends on the position and the players...usually 3-4 times raise of the big blind.

For me the blinds continue to look more attractive every time I am lucky enough to have the hand.  Seems when I try to suck others in to build the pot I get blind sided.  I bet heavy and steal the blinds!

Whenevr I get AA i put in a small raise if there are lots of people ahead of me to act. But if there arent many people left to act I just call the BB.
